Black Veil Brides to livestream anniversary show from the Whisky.
Hollywood rockers Black Veil Brides are putting on their best leather and hitting the road…sort of. Andy Biersack and his fellow Sunset Strip refugees are taking the coronavirus situation in stride and have devised a great solution to keep on rockin’. On August 1, the band will head to WeHo to celebrate the release of its forthcoming new album by performing Re-Stitch These Wounds in full at the Whisky A Go-Go.
The special record release party performance will be the first time that BVB will be rocking tracks from Re-Stitch These Wounds, a 10-year anniversary re-recording of the Bridesβ 2010 debut album, We Stich These Wounds. The new release is due July 31.
The live performance begins at 2 p.m. PT and is taking place on the Whisky’s famous stage, but because of California’s social distancing requirements, fans will have to enjoy the concert via live stream only. The good news is that tickets are only $10.
Sure, it’s going to take some getting used to watching our favorite bands via livestream until the Covid situation is resolved, but we’ll take Black Veil Brides any way we can get them. So, this is great news for fans looking for some exciting live high-energy rock and roll by one of Hollywood’s coolest bands (by way of Cinncinnati).
And if you’ve heard Black Veil Brides’ new teasers for Re-Stitch These Wounds, then you know that this show is going to blow the roof off of the Whisky!
BVB’s Sunset Strip showcase on Aug. 1 may be the only time we get to see the band live in any capacity, livestreamed or IRL, in 2020. The band’s actual tour kicks off in Australia in May 2021.
The Whisky A Go-Go is located in the heart of Rock Row at 8901 Sunset Boulevard at Clark Street. Get tickets and more details here.
